So I’ve decided to start this blog as a means of attempting to vent my frustrations with the world, which I already do in my facebook posts and rants to my friends anyway, but in this way at least it’s kind of chronicled, instead of just lost in the noise. And without character limits, I’ll hopefully be able to get my point across a bit more coherently.

It will probably become apparent from my posts that I’m definitely an atheist, but this is just a side-effect of being a skeptic. I am against all nonsense claims, not just religion. It just so happens that religion is winning in this department. I forget who said it, but “If you’re not outraged by religion, you’re not paying attention”. Well, I’m definitely paying attention.

I’m not all anger though, there’ll be posts about what excites me too, science. To quote a retired editor of New Scientist, when asked if there was a motto the company followed, “Science is interesting, and if you don’t agree you can fuck off!”
